What are your favourite films, tv shows, genres or filmmakers? My favourite ever film has to be THE DARK KNIGHT. I love any films by Christopher Nolan, especially anything that has a non-linear narrative. Pixar films are a favourite of mine, being able to discuss complex topics hidden behind the guise of colour and charm. Marvel comics were a big influence on my childhood so those films will always be special to me.
What does having your writing published in DIEGESIS mean to you? I’m beyond thankful to have been given this opportunity. To take this these first steps on my professional writing career has been a truly amazing experience. There’s nothing like the sense of accomplishment than seeing your byline on a piece of writing you’re proud of.
What is your writing process? My writing process is beyond appalling. I exist in a constant state of writer's block. I pace up and down for hours staring at a blank computer screen until I finally muster up the guile to write a few measly sentences. I usually go for long walks to get inspiration, I vaguely plan out what I want to say and then just hope that it makes its way on to paper in an legible fashion.
